Cost-effectiveness analysis
of the employment of XADO-technology examplified by
the reconditioning of 4BM10-100/8 comressor at "Kharkov Machine Tool Engineering
Works "Svet Shakhtera"" Joint-Stock Company
- Initial data (prices less VAT):
- Costs of the repairs according to XADO-technology 4BM10-100/8 compressor
totaled S1=4.644 UH.
- Costs of the running repairs of the compressor per year (less equipment laydown time)
amounted to S2=14.900 UH.
- The compressor delivery upon the treatment was increased by dP=36.7%.
- The rated compressor power P=555 KW/h.
- The compressor working time totals annually T=4224 h.
- Tariff per 1 KW/h C=0.18 UH.
- Cost-effectiveness analysis:
The overall economic effectiveness equals: EFFECT=dR + dE,where
- dR - effect due to restoration of the technical characteristics to the ratings;
- dE - effect due to electric power savings;
- dR = S2-S1=14.900 - 4.644 = 10.256 UH.
- dE = P * dP * T * C = 555 * 0.367 * 0.18 * 4.224 = 154.865 UH.
Thus, EFFECT=dR + dE = 10.256 + 154.865 = 165.121 UH.
The payback term just due to electric power savings amounts to:
dT = S1 / (dE * T) = 4.644 / (154.865 * 4.224) = 127 h or 8 days
of the compressor operation.
Conclusions.
- With the economy on the running repairs of over 10.000 UH upon
4BM10-100/8 compressor according to XADO-technology there was obtained an additional
economic effect in the amount of 154.865 UH due to electric power savings.
- The aggregated annual economic effect on the introduction of XADO-technology
per 4BM10-100/8 compressor totaled 165.360 UH.
- XADO-technology is a resources and power saving
technology with a very short payback period
