Problem. The existing mass production technologies of the world for processing parts of assemblies and mechanisms do not permit to precisely hold to the specified dimensions of parts and ensure perfect finishing of the rubbing surfaces. This has brought to life a system of fits and tolerances. Thus, all new, and to a larger extent partially worn parts of assemblies and mechanisms are far from being perfect. From the very start of service their rubbing-pair surfaces commence to get destroyed.


Solution. We propose the unique XADO-technology, which, in an original and simple way, can meet the friction challenge. By focusing on the particular rubbing mates (instead of unlinked parts) in the standard mode of operation, we achieve an optimal match of the parts, which ensures the minimal possible friction for a given system.


Essence of the method. XADO compound is a multicomponent fine mixture of some natural minerals, additions and catalysts. The major feature of the compounds consists in that they are able to form with the surface metal layer a cermet protective coating at rubbing and contacting spots. Details...


Fields of application. Our technology can be implemented in a vast variety of applications. To date we have amassed some experience for utilization of XADO-technology along the following lines:


Benefits from implementation. Energy savings, resources savings and economic expediency

  1. In the industry:
    • fuel and resources savings up to 35 %;
    • restoration of the standard dimensions and geometry of rubbing parts;
    • bringing the operational characteristics of assemblies and mechanisms to the ratings;
    • increased equipment effectiveness;
    • increased service life in an aggressive medium 5 times.
  2. The maximum indicators of the worn surfaces restoration: in a reduction gear drive - 1.6 mm, in a compressor - 0.5 mm (confirmed by certificates).
  3. The method is being implemented at more than 70 enterprises of Ukraine and Russia. There are appropriate certificates, which document the above-mentioned improvements, achieved in the course of the treatments according to XADO-technology.


New parts of assemblies and mechanisms upon treatment according to XADO-technology acquire a unique wear resistance.
Specifically, the following results are obtained:

  • for new engines
    • fuel savings 5% against the ratings;
    • reduced CO, CH contents in the exhausts 10 times; (purification degree: CO - 24%, CH - 88%), these results were obtained during testing of a new motor car with a catalyst;
    • protection against wear in case of accidental oil leakage (Example...);
    • slackaning of the requirements to the oil quality and elongation of the service life between oil changes.
  • for new transmissions and reduction gearboxes
    • fuel savings up to 15% against the ratings, especially in all-wheel-drive vehicles.


Worn parts of assemblies and mechanisms upon treatment according to XADO-technology acquire the unique wear resistance, their standard dimensions and geomentry being restored.
Specifically, the following results are obtained:

  • for engines
    • taking up gaps in the cylinders;
    • equalization of compression in the cylinders and bringing it to the ratings;
    • fuel consumption like in a new engine and better;
  • for transmissions
    • lowering of noise and vibration;
    • restoration of the geometries;
    • covering and elimination (complete)of pits.
  • for hydraulic boosters
    • play reduction;
    • elemination of rumbling and howling.
  • for bearings and equal angular velocity articulated joints
    • restoration of the initial dimensions with a wear degree up to 80%;
    • guarantee against the assembly seizure;
    • possibility of operation in sandy and other aggressive media.


Examination of the surfaces of the rubbing pairs, treated acccording to XADO-technology produced the folowing results:

  1. Microhardness: 400-450 kg/mm2;
  2. Friction coefficient: 0.003-0.007;
  3. Compressibe stresses: 250 kg/mm2;
  4. High resistance to corrosion.


Implementation of XADO-technology enables in the perpective:

  1. to dispense with conventional strengthening treatments in certain cases;
  2. to replace costly strong alloys with common steels.

XADO-technology products are available in the form of gels and greases. They are supplied filled and packaged for retail trade and industry. At present, monthly deliveries of the products can be made in the amount,which is sufficient to fully treat 200.000 motor cars.

The exceptional simplicity of application enables to introduce the required amount of the gel (grease) on the respective assemply also later on during the standard mode of operation (without repairs !!!) and obtain the desired results.
